I had a single room which was very small, but also very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable with excellent linens and pillows. The bathroom was a good size and had everything I needed for the week. Storage is a bit tough. There's a closet with a few hangers but no dresser. The room was clean and having a kettle and coffee and tea ready at all times was wonderful. The housekeepers were always willing to give extra coffee or tea when asked. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is green, meaning they don't use small individual soaps, etc. The brand that they use is wonderful and not having extra packaging and waste is wonderful. Each room has a reusable water bottle and there are filling stations on each floor so you don't need to buy plastic bottles. If you don't have your room cleaned each day, you get a voucher worth 7 pounds. I used mine for the breakfast at the hotel which was phenomenal. Anything you can think of was available buffet style. The location of the hotel is perfect. Easy walking distance to major attractions and also very conveniently located to the Covent Garden tube station so you can access all parts of London easily. Money exchange located across from the hotel along with a Tesco convenience store. Lots of bars and restaurants and shopping in Covent Garden. All around, the Strand Palace has a great location, exceptional staff and very comfortable accommodations.

The facilities were great, and the hotel was beautiful. The room, our cozy double, was indeed cozy. The breakfast staff was kind, the wonderful man serving hot food was smiling, kind and patient. The people at the front desk were kind, and even found time for you in check-in "rush hour". Truly appreciative of a great stay. When we checked in, the clerk found us another room with higher ceilings so-as-to accommodate my height, which was a wonderful gesture, and not something I'd have expected! We were able to forgo room service in exchange for a voucher for the gin bar. win/win to be able to both help the climate by reducing wasteful washes AND get a cheaper gin & tonic. What a life, huh.

If you are visiting London for site-seeing it is pretty much in the center of everything. You are 15 to 30 minutes walk to almost all popular sites. The vast majority of west end theatres are in the vicinity. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel and a subway station 5 minutes away. A bakery/coffee shop on the east side of the hotel offers some options for breakfast. Tesco and sainsbury in less than 5 minutes walk. Location is perfect! The room was very clean. It offered many amenities like iron with ironing board, blow dryer, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, body lotion, kettle, a selection of tea, instant coffee, welcoming chocolate and bottles of water.

Amazing location, a minute walk away from Thames and less than a 10 minute walk to reach the London Eye and Big Ben. It's located on a main street with many shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and the bed in the room was super comfortable. After we checked out of the room, as our flight was late in the evening, the staff offered to charge our phones prior to leaving the hotel and they kept our luggage in the baggage room for the whole day. Would definitely stay there again.

My room was small, but comfortable and perfectly adequate. The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is really convenient for going to the theater, and seemed to be pretty central for going to other attractions as well, either by walking or via Tube or bus. The lighting for reading was superb, which is usually a complaint that I have while traveling--not here!! The hotel also has nice restaurant options, including the restaurant Joe Allen, which is onsite.
